We are so excited to announce the call for entries for this year's National PTA Reflections Program will be open soon! This year's theme for the 2023-2024 school year will be  I Am Hopeful Because... 
 
 

ABOUT REFLECTIONS

 
 

What is Reflections?

The Reflections Program is America's oldest and largest arts education program of its kind and welcomes students of all grade levels and abilities to explore and be involved in the arts.

 

Students reflect on the common theme and create original artistic works in the categories of

 Dance Choreography Visual Arts Photography Music Composition Literature Film Production Special Artist

Awards & Recognition

Although Reflections is not a contest, students are individually judged on their project and not judged against the other students. They are judged on how well they explain their art fits the theme, the mastery of the medium used and their creativity.

 

Ribbons will be awarded to all entrants, with recognition categories of:

 

Award of Excellence

Award of Merit

Honorable Mention

 

Entrants have the potential to advance to area wide and national level to be recognized for their artwork! Top entries will advance to Plano ISD Council of PTAs at the beginning of December for the next level judging with potential to advance to the Texas PTA and National PTA levels. 

Advancing students have chances to win monetary prizes for their art!

 

ELIGIBILITY

Full program rules:

English | Spanish

Key points:​

  • There is no limit on the number of entries per student!

  • Remember to reflect the theme in the work!
    "I am Hopeful Because..."

  • Guidelines and requirements must be met or your entry will not be judged.

  • Submission deadline is Friday, November 10th, 2023.

  • All entrants must have at least one (1) current Jackson PTA member in their household for this school year prior to October 31st.
